Transformers fall of cybertron

transformers fall of cybertronDeveloper High Moon Studios returns to helm its second game in the Transformers series with lots of explosive action, exciting gameplay, and plenty of transforming. Carrying a strong sense of passion for its source material, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron stands out as a powerful title that carries on the story of everyone’s favourite robots-in-disguise. Taking control of both the Autobots and the Decepticons, you’ll be thrust
into some truly exciting and grand set-piece moments that do justice to the Transformers franchise. While the option to run through the campaign with a friend inco-op is missing, each ‘chapter is dedicated to a single character and makes use of their abilities and unique arsenal to deliver an action-packed experience. You’ll be powering through hordes of baddies with Optimus Prime, using quick man-oeuvres and close-range combat, and making use of Cliff jumper’s stealth abilities to progress in the game. Each of the different segments is punctuated by
epic action scenes and grand battles that truly provide a groundbreaking experience within the game, and the endgame is paced brilliantly,
making for a solid action-packed play that satisfies even the most diehard fans of the series. Along the way, you’ll be able to nab some hidden collectibles that flesh out more of the story and provide more unlocks in the game’s weapon shop. While the game’s single-player mode may feel a bit on the short side and feature an ending that doesn’t really satisfy, the multiplayer holds up the sweet end of the deal with advancements in both the competitive and cooperative sections.

Fall of Cybertron brings back the highly-engaging Escalation mode from the previous game, with varying objectives and new customization options. With a well-rounded selection of maps, you’ll find the multiplayer mode highly enjoyable affair as well. The truly standout moments are when you transform into your designated vehicle, which increases your Armour and mobility while providing some nice variation to the combat. The game goes out of its way to deliver an assault on the senses with intense colors and visuals that work well in suffusing character to the previously-drab – environments and enemies. No two levels are alike; whether it’s the dingy sewers, the surface of the planet or the far reaches of its atmosphere. There’s also plenty of work put into character models and animations, although enemy variety seems limited. The Transformers are well-detailed and evocative of the 80′s animated series with their retro-style designs. There are occasional glitches and shortcomings that come along with the good stuff, but for the most part, the game holds well on the visual front. The soundtrack perfectly paints the picture of a chaotic battlefield with its epic orchestrations and pounding themes. In summary, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron feels like a definite upgrade to an already-well crafted game. While it may suffer from a short and abrupt ending, the core game play mechanics and great actionpacked
moments definitely make this title worthy of your attention.
